Celebrating Success

Our Celebrating Success School Improvement Team is currently exploring how we can expand and enhance our structures and systems for recognising positive achievements and attainment across the school community. 

• We frequently use our Twitter feed @LGS_1183 to highlight various achievements, be they focused on personal contributions in society, skills-based achievements, academic successes or any other category. • Our Head Teacher also sends a weekly update to parents and carers in which he also gives recognition to a wide array of achievements that have been brought to his attention. 
• Annual Prizegiving events for both the Senior Phase and Broad General Education provide an opportunity to celebrate outstanding attainment and the achievement of Merit and Endeavour prizes. 

We welcome all suggestions and feedback on how we can bolster opportunities to admire, appreciate and celebrate the successes of our students.
